This is how I celebrate the New Year and the Christmas. First of all for New Year we decorate the Christmas tree. On the Christmas tree we put beautiful and colored toys and lights.
We put holiday dishes on the holiday table. We put dolma, fried pork leg, turkey, holiday salads and other delicious dishes. We also put desserts and sweets on the holiday table nuts, cakes, candies, dried fruit.
We begin to celebrate the New Year in the night of December 31. On New Year’s night, Santa Claus comes and puts the presents under the Christmas tree.
On the 6-th of January we celebrate Christmas. We put on the Christmas table fish, rice, fried greens and other delicious dishes.
We are very happy on these days.
